DDA are fully accredited CIBSE Low Carbon Consultants (LCC) authorised to carry out assessments and calculations to meet with the requirements of Building Regulations Approved Documents L2A and L2B – Conservation of Fuel and Power, for new and existing buildings.

Since October 2006, the requirement to submit CO2 emission calculations to Building Control has been in place along with specifications used for the calculations, before the start of any building work and building erection. This is in addition to the CO2 calculations submitted after completion of works.
